The Alchemy Solutions product suite – NeoKicks, NeoBatch, NeoSort, NeoData, NeoData zLink and NeoServices – integrates with the NetCOBOL for .NET compiler to provide modernization options for bringing mission critical CICS and batch applications to the.NET environment.

Alchemy Solutions is the distributor (outside Japan) of the Fujitsu NetCOBOL family of runtime-free COBOL compilers. The NetCOBOL family of compilers began in the 1960s, and, in the 1990s, was released on Microsoft Windows.  Today, NetCOBOL is known for its exploitation of .NET, high performance and exceptional levels of production quality. Worldwide there are over half a million mission-critical, production applications that rely on NetCOBOL technology and runtime support.

The Alchemy Solutions team recognized the value of Microsoft’s .NET Framework at an early stage, and was able to demonstrate an early prototype of COBOL support of .NET at Microsoft’s Professional Developers Conference 2000 when .NET was first announced. NetCOBOL for .NET was the only COBOL compiler producing native .NET MSIL code when .NET was released, and it continues to lead the COBOL world in .NET-supported features and utilities.  Following this achievement, Alchemy Solutions introduced NeoKicks, NeoBatch, NeoData and NeoServices to offer cost-saving solutions to migrate mainframe applications to .NET.
