Fujitsu Software Corporation Products Play Key Role In Microsoft/Fujitsu Ltd. Global Alliance
Fujitsu's COBOL development tools, INTERSTAGE application server products and SystemWalker systems and network management solution will support Mircosoft's initiative to expand its Windows platform enterprise solution business
San Jose, Calif., September 21, 2000 -- Fujitsu Software Corporation's products will figure prominently in a global alliance between its parent company, Fujitsu Limited, and Microsoft. Under the terms of the alliance, which was announced in Tokyo today, the companies will collaborate on global promotion and development of Microsoft's .Net Enterprise Server products and Fujitsu's COBOL development tools, INTERSTAGE application server products and SystemWalker systems and network management solutions.
This agreement between Fujitsu Ltd. and Microsoft expands the scope of Fujitsu's support of the .Net framework by strengthening product level technical cooperation for the three Fujitsu products and Microsoft's .Net Enterprise Server products.
