New Fujitsu NetCOBOL Brand Built On Strength of COBOL Products In Internet Environment
San Jose, May 8, 2002 - Fujitsu Software Corporation today unveiled NetCOBOL™, the new name and web identity for the company's line of COBOL products. The NetCOBOL brand name reflects the strength of Fujitsu's implementation of the legacy COBOL language in the Internet environment.
The product line includes NetCOBOL for .NET, NetCOBOL for Windows, NetCOBOL for SPARC™ Architecture, and NetCOBOL for HP-UX. Each product is based on the same core technology, providing the same high standards of execution integrity and stability, while incorporating features required to target the different environments.
