Strategic Alliances

The team at Alchemy Solutions has forged a strong relationship with Microsoft over the last several years, starting with an early recognition of the power of the .NET vision and technology. This drove the creation of the first COBOL for the .NET Framework (NetCOBOL for .NET) and subsequent products that enable the migration of mainframe applications to the .NET environment (NeoKicks, NeoBatch, NeoSort, and NeoData). We were one of the founding members of the Mainframe Migration Alliance and continue to work closely with Microsoft to help our mutual customers migrate their systems successfully to the Windows Server environment.

In June 2009 we announced that Alchemy Solutions (carved out from Fujitsu Computer Systems as an independent company) had attained Gold Certified Partner status. As a Gold Certified Partner, we demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and a proven ability to meet customers’ needs. In this announcement Bob Ellsworth, director of platform modernization at Microsoft, commented:

Another example of our commitment our relationship with Microsoft is that we recently certified our latest product, NeoData, for Microsoft Windows Server 2008. We recognize that integration with Microsoft products is important for our customers’ success in the Windows environment, so that they can fully enjoy the productivity, scalability, and technological innovation that it offers.
